Provide XMR liquidity on Zefram

ETH → XMR & BTC → XMR maker program

Provide XMR liquidity on Zefram

Request access to the Zefram maker program. Approved makers provide XMR liquidity for ETH→XMR and BTC→XMR swaps using their own Monero wallet and an EVM wallet (for the ETH rail) or swap infrastructure (for the BTC rail).

01 · Quote
User requests a quote

A user on Zefram enters an ETH amount and their XMR receive address. Zefram routes the quote request to available approved makers. The best available rate is shown to the user.

02 · Session
Swap session opens

The user confirms and a swap session is created. A deposit address is generated. The user sends ETH to initiate their side of the swap.

03 · Settlement
Maker fulfils the XMR leg

Once the ETH deposit is confirmed on-chain, you as the maker fulfil the XMR leg by sending the agreed amount to the user's Monero address. Settlement is tracked live.

04 · Complete
ETH released, spread earned

On successful XMR delivery, the ETH is released to your settlement address. Your spread is the difference between the quoted rate and your cost to source the XMR.

OTC desks

Desks already sourcing XMR inventory who want inbound ETH flow without building a user interface or handling custody of user deposits.

Self-custody market makers

Individual or small-team operators with XMR holdings who want to earn spread on flow without running a centralized exchange account.

Privacy-native operators

Privacy-minded participants who want to provide XMR liquidity on a trust-minimised rail with minimal identity requirements and full self-custody.

Required
  • XMR inventory — the actual liquidity you provide to takers
  • EVM wallet — for offer creation, gas, bond/collateral if required, and claiming ETH proceeds
  • Monero wallet — to send XMR and manage Monero-side fulfilment
  • Response capacity — ability to fulfil within your configured response window
Optional
  • Monero wallet RPC — for automated fulfilment; manual mode requires none
  • Dedicated infra — no node requirement for manual makers
  • Large inventory — you set your own min and max; small starts are fine
  • 24/7 availability — configure your own active hours and auto-pause rules
Step 1
Request access

Submit a short access request below. We ask only for an alias, a contact handle, your XMR size range, and preferred fulfilment mode. No wallet addresses or technical setup required at this stage.

Step 2
Review

We review for fit — inventory level, response capacity, and alignment with the current program. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Step 3
Setup wizard

Approved makers complete setup in the maker dashboard: (1) connect an EVM wallet for contract actions, gas, and claims; (2) configure a Monero wallet address or Monero wallet RPC for XMR fulfilment.

Step 4
Test

Run a mandatory maker test before going live. The test simulates a full quote → session → fulfillment cycle and verifies your wallet, limits, and notification setup.

Step 5
Go live in limited mode

Your first session arrives. Acknowledge it in the dashboard, send XMR from your Monero wallet, mark dispatched, then claim your ETH on the EVM side. Full flow — no custody at any step.

Yes. As a maker, you fulfil the XMR leg from your own wallet after the user's ETH deposit is confirmed. Zefram does not hold maker inventory. Your XMR leaves your wallet only when you fulfil a session you have accepted.
Not in manual mode. Manual makers operate using an existing Monero wallet and an EVM wallet — no dedicated nodes or infrastructure required. Monero wallet RPC is optional and unlocks automated fulfilment.
Yes. The maker program is designed for a manual-first start. You fulfil sessions by hand, get comfortable with the flow, then optionally enable Monero wallet RPC for automated fulfilment when you are ready.
You set your own trade size limits. There is no minimum inventory requirement set by Zefram — your minimum and maximum per-swap sizes are configured by you during onboarding. Smaller starts are fine and expected for first-time makers.
Yes. You can pause your maker status at any time from the maker dashboard. You can also configure active hours and auto-pause rules so you are only quoted when you are actively available to fulfil.
During onboarding you configure your alert preferences — email, Telegram, or browser notifications. You can also set a response window; sessions that are not fulfilled within your window are flagged for review.
Unfulfilled sessions are flagged in your maker dashboard. The user's refund path is handled by the protocol — they are not left without recourse. Repeated misses affect your maker standing and may result in a review conversation.
The current maker program is gated — access requests are reviewed individually to maintain liquidity quality during the early phase. We plan to open access more broadly once the onboarding process is proven.
We keep maker intake minimal and only ask for what is needed to review operational fit and communicate about approval. Takers need no account. Makers are counterparties providing liquidity and must be reachable for onboarding, testing, and live operations. You choose your own contact method — Telegram, Signal, Session, or email.
